Applications Support Analyst - Banking Systems - Liverpool

This is an urgent permanent role offering £30,000 per annum plus excellent benefits, including pension, private healthcare, holiday, and sick pay. The position involves hybrid working in Liverpool, with potential for 3-4 days in-office and 1-2 days remote.

Key Requirements:
  • Experience in Application Support, Service Desk, or IT Support within the financial sector, especially with Financial Database Software.
  • Certifications: CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation, Microsoft Office Specialist (Office 365), ITSM tool experience (ServiceNow), MS Teams, and O365.
  • Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor are essential.
  • DBS and Financial Vetting will be required prior to employment.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day operations of Line of Business Applications within agreed OLAs and SLAs.
  • Handle support calls, tickets, and escalations professionally via email, phone, and MS Teams.
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and outsource providers.
  • Support incident and problem management processes to ensure effective resolution and reduce recurring issues.
  • Collaborate within the IT team and across departments to ensure effective IT operations.
  • Provide guidance on IT initiatives and promote continuous improvement.
