Job summary

Certara is seeking an Applications Solutions Analyst (Finance) to support administration, configuration, and ongoing operation of core financial applications, including NetSuite, SAP Concur, and BlackLine. Qualifications

• 2+ years administering NetSuite’s Financial Module.
• Experience configuring NetSuite roles and permissions to support audit/compliance.
• Experience building saved searches, custom reports, or SuiteAnalytics workbooks for financial reporting.
• Familiarity with NetSuite-to-third‑party integrations (SuiteTalk, REST API, or iPaaS tools).
• Knowledge of SOX and ISO compliance frameworks.

About the position As an Applications Solutions Analyst (Finance), you will support administration, configuration, and ongoing operation of Certara's core financial applications, including NetSuite's Financial Module, SAP Concur Expense and Travel Management, BlackLine's accounting automation platform, and related financial systems. This role involves hands-on NetSuite configuration, maintenance, enhancements and upgrades, ensuring data integrity, managing deployments and security, providing end-user support, and maintaining documentation and governance in close collaboration with technical team members and business stakeholders. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 3-5 years in an IT applications support role and wants to deepen their skills across cloud-based Enterprise financial applications in a collaborative, growth oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on configuration, customization, and day-to-day administration of financial applications, with primary focus on NetSuite's Financial Module
• Support the administration and optimization of SAP Concur Expense and Travel Management and BlackLine accounting automation software
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements to improve efficiency and user experience
• Support security administration, including user access provisioning, role-based permissions, and segregation-of-duties controls
• Assist with audit, risk management, and compliance activities related to financial systems, including SOX and ISO requirements
• Document technical configurations, processes, and system changes with consistency and clarity to support knowledge continuity and audit readiness
• Collaborate with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to gather requirements, test enhancements, and roll out system changes
• Support system upgrades, patches, and vendor-led releases, including regression testing and validation
• Provide end-user support on financial applications
• Contribute to process documentation and standard operating procedures for financial systems administration
• Partner with the team members on administration of our Professional Services Automation (PSA) platform (Kantata) to support integrations and workflows connecting project/resource management with financial systems
• Actively pursue professional development and training in NetSuite related Financial Applications

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 2+ years of hands‑on experience administering NetSuite’s Financial Module
• Experience configuring NetSuite roles, permissions, and segregation-of-duties controls to support audit and compliance requirements
• Experience building saved searches, custom reports, or SuiteAnalytics workbooks for financial reporting
• Familiarity with SuiteFlow for workflow automation (e.g., approval routing)
• Familiarity with NetSuite-to-third‑party integrations (SuiteTalk, REST API, or iPaaS tools like Workato)
• Demonstrated experience with security, audit, risk management, and compliance frameworks (SOX, ISO)
• Familiarity with Agile delivery processes and tools such as JIRA Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate ideas and results to both technical and non‑technical audiences
• Highly organized, with the ability to document technical systems clearly and consistently
• Team player with strong analytical skills and the ability to understand and resolve complex problems
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work cross‑functionally in a global organization

Bonus skills

• Exposure to SuiteScript or working alongside developers on NetSuite customizations
• Familiarity with SAP Concur or similar expense/travel management applications
• Familiarity with BlackLine or comparable accounting automation/reconciliation software
