Job summary

Biotage seeks an applications-focused scientist to specialise in analytical sample preparation and bioanalytical workflows, emphasising SPE, SLE and related techniques.

You will develop and optimise applications, generate data, support evaluations and create technical content to demonstrate Biotage solutions. Travel across the EMEA region is expected, and automation experience is a plus but not essential.

Qualifications

• Degree or higher in Chemistry or related field.
• Experience in analytical chemistry, bioanalysis or sample preparation.
• Practical SPE/SLE experience.
• Experience developing and troubleshooting lab methods.
• Understanding of sample preparation workflows in pharma/bioanalytical labs.
• Willingness to travel across the EMEA region.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimise and troubleshoot sample preparation applications and workflows (SPE, SLE).
• Develop applications for bioanalysis, pharmaceutical and CRO workflows.
• Investigate customer sample prep challenges and craft robust solutions.
• Generate data and technical evidence to demonstrate workflow performance.
• Support customer demonstrations, evaluations and workflow implementation.
• Collaborate with Sales to align on customer requirements and provide support.
• Assist the automation of sample prep workflows where appropriate.
• Create application notes, guides, presentations and webinars.
• Identify trends and opportunities for new or improved workflows.
• Support product launches and provide input to EMEA campaigns.
• Share customer insights with Product Management and R&D.
