Job summary

Bluegate Consulting Ltd. is seeking an Applications Engineer Special Builds in Wallingford to manage customer-specific vehicle projects from brief to delivery.

The role combines 3D CAD with hands-on engineering and close collaboration with clients, Production and suppliers. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in similar roles, advanced NX CAD skills, and strong mechanical engineering knowledge for fabrication with steel, aluminium and plastics.

Qualifications

5+ years’ experience in Applications engineering or similar
Advanced NX 3D CAD with production drawings
Strong mechanical engineering knowledge with experience in metal/plastic components

Responsibilities

Project manage customer-specific modifications from brief to delivery
Develop manufacturing drawings, BOMs and budgets using 3D CAD
Provide technical support to Production, Sales and suppliers
