An industry leading Manufacturer of IT precision cooling seeks an Applications Engineer to work on project specifications for IT, telecommunications and data centres, incorporating close control, chillers and heat recovery. You will work in a team environment, engaging with design consultants helping them with their cooling requirements on a multitude of IT cooling projects requiring advanced cooling and heat recovery systems whether air or water based.
Due to the nature of the role you will have service, install, application, design or specification experience of HVAC cooling within data centres. Areas of knowledge and experience that are of interest include water cooling, heat pumps, heat recovery, chillers, CRAC, CRAH systems, close control, applied cooling, adiabatic, free cooling, evaporative cooling, AHU's, chilled water (CHW) and DX. Due to the technical nature of the role, qualifications would be an advantage e.g. BEng of MEng in mechanical engineering / Renewable Energy Engineering or an equivalent degree or industry qualifications such as Level 3 City & Guilds in HVAC.

Initial indications by the client are a salary range of between £50,000 and £60,000 with bonus although there may be some further flexibility depending on your experience and suitability for the position.
