Shape the Future of Interconnect Solutions as an Applications Engineer

As an Applications Engineer, you'll help drive the creation of bespoke and innovative solutions for world-class customers, supporting sales and engineering teams with your technical insight and system-level thinking.

Key Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with Sales, Business Development Managers, and customers to identify technical opportunities and create tailored design solutions using existing or new products.
2. Capture and interpret technical requirements, create compliance matrices and concept designs, and deliver system-level solutions that align with strategic business objectives.
3. Liaise with manufacturing teams to ensure solutions are efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with production capabilities.

Requirements

1. Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering (or similar) with extensive experience in a design or engineering environment, preferably in a customer-facing role.
2. Experience in 3D CAD and PLM software (CREO preferred).
3. Familiarity with designing and manufacturing small components with tight tolerances.
4. Good knowledge of the NPI lifecycle and hands-on experience creating concept designs from customer input.
5. Willing to travel domestically and internationally as required.
