Job Opportunity: Design Engineer

Work Schedule: 4-day week, Monday to Thursday

IntaPeople is proud to collaborate with a leading manufacturer based in South Wales, currently expanding their engineering team.

The successful candidate will work closely with clients to understand their evolving needs and support ongoing improvements by modifying existing designs of products and services. Responsibilities include maintaining design and manufacturing data, as well as redesigning and redeveloping equipment to meet performance requirements and uphold capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and implement design modifications.
2. Maintain and update design and manufacturing data.
3. Redesign and redevelop equipment to meet performance standards.

Minimum Requirements:

• 3–5+ years of experience in a design or manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical skills and a desire to create unique solutions.
• Proficiency with CAD software.
• Adaptable, proactive, solution-oriented, and team motivator.
• Engineering degree (BSc or equivalent).
• Ability to obtain UK security clearance.
• Valid UK driving license.

Advantageous Criteria:

• Experience in regulated industries such as defence, medical, or automotive.
• Knowledge of various engineering design methodologies, including waterfall, V-cycle, and agile.
