Applications Development Manager (D365 & Power Platform), up to £79K (inside M25 - outside M25 up to £73K)

Pearson Carter is currently supporting a client in the health & social care sector with their search for an Applications Development Manager. This role is ideal for a technical lead or lead developer who is an expert in Dynamics 365 development, overseeing a growing tech team. As an Applications Development Manager, you will manage a team of 10 while remaining hands-on, leading successful D365 and Power Platform projects.

The position offers a competitive salary of up to £79K depending on experience (up to £73K outside M25), 35 days holiday (including 8 bank holidays), a pension scheme, and the option to work fully remotely.

Responsibilities

1. Lead the design, build, test, and maintenance of application services, ensuring they meet business requirements and user needs.
2. Deliver automated, scalable, reliable, and secure services.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure solutions adhere to architectural principles, industry best practices, and meet customer outcomes.
4. Manage and develop the Software Engineering team by providing technical leadership to in-house staff and external suppliers.

Experience

1. Previous experience as a Technical Lead or Lead Developer.
2. Expert knowledge of D365 and Power Platform.
3. Experience leading a team of developers.
4. Strong soft skills with demonstrated stakeholder management experience.

Salary

The salary is up to £79K depending on experience, with regional differences: up to £73K if outside M25. Benefits include 35 days holiday (including bank holidays), pension scheme, and fully remote working options.

Location

The client has offices in London and Newcastle. This is a home-based role with travel to the London office twice a month. Expenses for travel outside the M25 will be reimbursed.
