We are now seeking an Applications Assistant and HSE Lead to join our team.
Job Summary
As an Applications Assistant and HSE Lead, your role is to protect communities and the environment by mitigating subsidence risks through innovative drilling and injection techniques. Your responsibilities include safety management, environmental health considerations, planning and designing drilling and injection operations, conducting site assessments, and geotechnical investigations. You will collaborate with project managers, geotechnical engineers, and stakeholders to develop and implement effective mitigation strategies. You will also prepare detailed reports, risk assessments, and project updates.
This role involves nationwide travel, overnight stays, and occasional weekend work.
Candidate Profile
We value candidates with a strong understanding of EHS principles and geotechnical engineering. Flexibility in working hours, including weekends, is essential. Candidates should hold a qualification in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering, or have extensive experience in drilling and injection operations, preferably in subsidence mitigation. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are required. A valid UK driving license and willingness to travel to project sites are necessary.
