A dynamic technology company in the UK is seeking an experienced Applications Analyst to join their Applications Support Team. The incumbent will manage and configure line-of-business systems to improve operational performance. The role offers a competitive salary between £34,255 and £40,300 per annum, along with generous benefits including annual leave, healthcare plans, and a pension scheme. This is a 2-year fixed term contract with a remote work option.

Digital and Technology Services is focused on ensuring current and future investment in technology to maximise the opportunities to support Seetec from a technological perspective. Bringing a new focus to understanding and supporting the business functions will be key in exploiting technology to deliver positive business outcomes.
As an Applications Analyst, your core responsibilities will include maintaining and configuring essential line-of-business systems across key areas within Seetec. You’ll ensure applications run securely and efficiently by managing upgrades, mitigating risks, and supporting system integrations across business areas. You’ll also contribute to management reporting by providing accurate data and system insights.
You’ll be responsible for delivering support in accordance with the work allocation, performance, and training and development plan on a day-to-day basis.

Location: Remote
Hours: 37 hours a week. Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5pm, Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm – 2 Year Fixed Term Contract
Key Responsibilities
• Follow agreed processes and procedures in delivering applications and services, including the management of security and risk, to ensure Service Level Agreements with different business functions can be met to agreed timelines.
• The resolution of application incidents, major incidents and problems to ensure quick resolution to meet agreed service levels and applications performance targets to minimise disruption to critical business operations.
• Implement approved requests for change as needed to maintain a current applications environment aligned to business requirements.
• Work collaboratively to deliver application work plans in support of projects and BAU maintenance activities including the management of security and risk.
• Applications delivered ‘As A Service’, working with the Service Providers to ensure such applications maintain security and currency and that configuration is maintained to meet Business requirements.
• Maintain in depth, up-to-date business knowledge, specialist technical skills and market intelligence relating to the relevant applications.
• Ensure maintenance procedures are put into operation.
• Ensure software licencing laws are followed.
Skills and Experience
Essential
• High level of demonstrable capability with relevant vendor business applications.
• Document writing skills for production of help guides, wikis and internal training notes.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and adhere to deadlines.
• Evidence of continual professional development to keep pace with technical and business change that meet defined SFIA V7 competencies.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft platforms including Azure, Intune and M365.
Desirable
• Experience working with VOIP/Soft Phone systems such as RingCentral, Avaya, IP Telecom.
