The Role

My client is seeking an experienced Systems Application Engineer to oversee all technical aspects of engineering projects. Responsibilities include assessing customer requirements, developing hardware and software solutions, supporting customers, creating technical documentation, and troubleshooting.

The ideal candidate will have experience in resolving technical customer issues and leading teams. There is an opportunity to learn how to utilize the client's IP for troubleshooting key customer issues.

Role Responsibilities

• Lead the identification of technical enablers and develop proof-of-concept prototypes as required by customers
• Develop system validation plans to ensure solutions meet design specifications and requirements
• Develop technical solutions with a clear understanding of the product and its user interactions
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting challenging deadlines
• Chair application engineering technical design reviews, providing expert support and sharing knowledge within the team

The Candidate

• Degree in Electronics, Physics, Robotics, or relevant experience
• Knowledge of product design from feasibility to production, including digital and analogue circuits, microprocessor circuits, and PCB design
• Proficiency in C, C++ programming languages and real-time operating systems
• Experience in developing quality assurance and regulatory compliance procedures
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Customer-focused with the ability to meet expectations

The Package

The salary range for this position is £60,000 - £73,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
