What you’ll do

• Handle incidents, problems and change at a global enterprise level. Remain calm and analytical when faced with major incidents on critical systems.
• Identifies risks, vulnerabilities and security issues; communicates impact; proposes risk mitigation options.
• Acts as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts; allocates work.
• Provides in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions.
• Directly impacts the business by influencing strategic functional decisions through advice, counsel or provided services.
• Pursues and influences others through strong and comprehensive communication and diplomacy skills.
• Provides expertise in production support and an advanced understanding of the principles of apps support.

What we’ll need from you

• Good technical knowledge of Cloudera stack, Kafka, Spark, Hive, HBase, Sqoop, Couchbase
• Familiarity with ITIL process, ServiceNow, ITRS monitoring and Splunk tools
• Service oriented attitude
• Practical problem solving and strategic thinking skills
• Ability to communicate appropriately with senior stakeholders
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
