Application Support Specialist - Front Office, Fixed Income/FX

A Major investment bank requires an Application Support Specialist to join their Fixed Income/FX E-Trading IT area. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ongoing maintenance, project-based ECN onboarding, and support of electronically traded credit and rates Fixed Income products.

Responsibilities include:

• Analysis, configuration, and 2nd line support of the Fixed Income Electronic Trading platform
• Supporting new releases of the product
• Providing detailed Application Support, ITRS Geneos support and configuration
• Having a solid understanding of Unix, SQL, Fixed Income Rates products or FX
• Communicating effectively within highly demanding Front Office environments

Essential skills:

• Production Support Analyst experience
• Experience in Front Office environments
• 2nd Line Application Support expertise
• Knowledge of Fixed Income (Rates/Credit) or EFX
• SQL proficiency
