Job Title: Application Support

Location: London (Hybrid)

Our client is a tech-driven proprietary trading firm expanding their Application Support team. They seek someone with front office experience to provide technical support and engineering functions for proprietary and third-party trading systems. The role is highly technical, with a focus on automation.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure readiness of the global trading platform for pre- and post-trading activities.
• Monitor and support transaction flow across the trading platform.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve alerts/issues promptly, or escalate them to minimize disruptions.
• Collaborate with trading, back office, brokers, exchanges, development, and infrastructure teams.
• Supervise automated processes, scheduled jobs, and reports.
• Create tools and automate processes to optimize workflows.
• Coordinate with Dev and Infrastructure teams on software releases.

Candidate requirements:

• 3+ years supporting front office applications/trading systems.
• Strong scripting/development skills in Python (must have).
• Strong Linux OS understanding (must have).
• SQL experience.
• KDB experience is a plus.
• Degree in computer science or related field.
• Innovative tech skills, 5-10 years ahead of the competition.
