Job description

Team / Directorate: ICT, Finance & Corporate Services


Starting salary: £36,246 rising to £39,942 per annum through annual increments (pro rata for part-time applicants)


Contract type: Permanent


Work pattern: Full-time, 37 hours per week. You will need to work as part of a flexible shift pattern to cover service hours from 8am to 6pm. Additionally, you will be required to work on a rota providing an ‘Out of Hours' DDaT Service to an agreed level. Overtime may be required to meet business needs. (Part-time, annualised hours, compressed hours, or term-time working options are available – discussions at interview stage welcome)

The role

Working under the supervision of the Application Support Team Leader, the Application Support Engineer provides 2nd line support and maintenance for NRW DDaT Applications within an ITIL framework, aligning with the wider team’s Target Operating Model to deliver an outstanding customer-focused service.


We support flexible working arrangements. You will be contracted to the nearest NRW office to your home, with a suitable hybrid working pattern to be agreed upon appointment. Any face-to-face meetings or training will be scheduled in advance.
