Application Support Engineer
Uxbridge, Hybrid, 2 days p.w. in office & flexible working)
GBP40 - GBP44k + very good benefits & 36 days holiday

Working for an expanding Application Support Team covering a complex, enterprise environment, with a broad range of applications, through standard MS stack to bespoke, specialist services.

The role is 2nd/3rd line support across the applications, including configuration changes, patching infrastructure and applications and collaborating with both external vendors and internal teams. ITIL experience is preferred and strong experience of Config Management, patching and application security will be highly desirable.

Main accountabilities:

  • Level 2 and Level 3 support for application-related issues.
  • Configuration changes and enhancements to software applications.
  • Patching infrastructure and applications to ensure security and performance.
  • Manage relationships with vendors, coordinating upgrades.
