Application Support Engineer

Role

• The Application Support Engineer will provide MySQL and T-SQL Database support and maintenance.
• 3rd line technical support and maintenance of in-house and out-of-box applications.
• Improve and support integration between various applications.
• Enhance and support business workflows within the applications.
• Monitor and support batch system jobs.
• Provide out-of-hours support to monitor batch jobs and system alerts.
• Handle special projects and other duties as assigned.

Profile

The Application Support Engineer should have solid experience with:

• PHP 5 OOP
• MySQL 5
• HTML 5 & CSS
• CentOS/Red Hat
• Windows Server 2016/2019
• Microsoft SQL Server 2016/2019
• Powershell
• FIX messaging for trading applications
• Shell scripting with Bash
• Knowledge of application security best practices
• Understanding of financial data systems and data warehousing
