A leading company in control systems is seeking an Application Support Engineer / Field Service Engineer to provide customer support and system maintenance across their DeltaV product range. This diverse role involves project execution, customer engagement, and participation in emergency response, requiring strong technical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
As an Application Support Engineer / Field Service Engineer, you will join our UK Lifecycle Services group supporting customers through a blend of upgrades, application deployments, and maintenance activities on their DeltaV DCS/SIS.
You will primarily engage our Process Systems and Solutions (PSS) customers within the UK, including offshore installations, to build relationships and become their trusted adviser.
We deploy a wide variety of products from the DeltaV portfolio, with a significant Cybersecurity focus – including Backup & Recovery, Patch Management, Predictive Maintenance, Endpoint Security, Application Whitelisting, and DeltaV Mobile. You will complete certification paths for the products required to support our customers so that you can deploy and maintain them.
Support activities include maintenance and incident resolution, and you'll be part of the on-call team providing emergency response to UK customers.
