Job description

We are looking for an experienced Application Production Services Specialist to provide production support. The role involves incident identification, resolution, problem management, and root cause analysis, ensuring service stability and performance. You will collaborate with development teams, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders to support system upgrades, audits, and operational enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide L1/L2/L3 production support, including incident management, root cause analysis, and problem resolution.
2. Manage incident and problem tickets using enterprise ITSM tools.
3. Perform capacity and performance management to ensure system stability.
4. Work closely with development teams for onboarding new applications and upgrades.
5. Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance and documentation.
6. Collaborate with business and operations teams to prioritize defect fixes and enhancements.
7. Handle event-driven and scheduled batch processes, ensuring smooth operations.
8. Troubleshoot technical issues related to Java, Middleware, Unix/Windows, and databases.
9. Participate in on-call support for real-time issue triaging and restoration efforts.

Required Skills & Experience:
1. 5+ years of IT experience in Production Support, ITIL, or Technical Implementations.
2. Strong expertise in Java/J2EE (Core Java, JDBC, Web Services, MQ, Microservices, MuleSoft).
3. Hands-on experience with middleware technologies (IBM WebSphere MQ, JBoss, MuleSoft).
4. Strong Unix/Windows OS knowledge with scripting expertise.
5. Proficiency in Oracle, DB2, and PL/SQL for incident resolution.
6. Experience with monitoring and scheduling tools for system support.
7. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skill
