- Monitor, maintain, and drive improvements to the application service for applications managed by RBSL, collaborating with users and business owners.
- Act as Service Owner for a range of application systems, ensuring their day-to-day management meets SLAs, and liaising with third-party suppliers as needed.
- Maintain a strong customer focus, collaborating with Business Owners and Users, and creating Knowledge Base articles for applications.
- Develop supporting application user processes and procedures.
- Act as the point of escalation for major incidents, service failures, or customer complaints related to supported services, keeping stakeholders informed and engaged until resolution.
- Stay up-to-date with terminology and service disciplines impacting service delivery.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to maintain positive relationships and ensure contractual compliance.
- Attend meetings on existing and future supported application services, understanding future roadmaps and contributing to projects.
- Support release and deployment activities, including upgrades, patching, and changes, reviewing impact, and developing test plans.
- Manage and maintain application licenses.
- Work with Information Asset Owners, Compliance, and Cyber Security to ensure data security measures align with policies, maintaining supportability for Cyber Essentials certification.
- Represent application services in the Change Advisory Board.
Qualifications and Experience

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
