Application Support Analyst-SQL (Leading Bank!)

We are seeking an Application Support Analyst with strong SQL, Unix/Linux, T-SQL, and scripting skills to join a leading investment bank in London. This role offers full autonomy to drive platform improvements and responsibilities within a well-established, friendly environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting dynamic environments within banking, insurance, or fintech sectors, with a good understanding of SQL and basic knowledge of scripting, UNIX, Linux, and .NET or Java technologies.

Key responsibilities include resolving user system and application queries, collaborating with development teams to enhance supportability, and assisting with testing and managing releases.

Location: Liverpool Street, London (Hybrid working, 2-3 days onsite)

Qualifications and Experience

• Experience in supporting investment banking, insurance, or fintech environments, with knowledge of asset classes.
• Proficiency in SQL Server tasks and general SQL understanding.
• Knowledge of scripting, UNIX, Linux, T-SQL.
• Basic understanding of .NET and Java technologies.
• Strong fault diagnosis and problem-solving skills.
• Good interpersonal skills and proactive attitude.
