Job description

Application Support Analyst Job Description

As an Application Support analyst, you will be responsible for maintaining a stack of business-critical applications, including both COTS products and internally developed solutions. You will ensure that services run seamlessly, enabling users to focus on their daily tasks.

In this role, you will monitor applications and services via a service management tool, respond to incidents and service requests within agreed SLAs, diagnose issues, and resolve them promptly.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Manage business-critical software across various directorates, including Engineering, Finance, and Payroll.
  • Identify root causes of issues and recommend solutions to prevent recurrence, such as process improvements, enhanced monitoring, user training, or code changes.
  • Provide holiday support to ensure continuous service and business operations.
Key Skills

Effective communication is essential, including responding to user inquiries via calls, emails, or face-to-face, and contributing to system design and implementation.
