This advanced organisation based in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, with good links to Kettering, Bedford, and Northampton, is looking for a talented Application Support Analyst with solid experience in supporting Oracle applications and providing production support for Core Banking products. Ideally, you will have a minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar role and will join their vibrant Support team.

Key responsibilities for this Application Support role include:

1. Supporting Core Banking applications in Financial Services, Banking, or Online Banking sectors
2. Supporting batch cycles and transaction processing
3. Creating and maintaining detailed support documentation related to the applications
4. Owning incidents and service requests for critical applications
5. Liaising with third parties to resolve software issues

Skills & Experience:

• Oracle Databases, PL/SQL, Oracle SQL skills
• Java programming skills and basic Unix shell scripting
• Unix scripting skills
• Experience with Flexcube and/or OBDX (highly advantageous)
• Financial Services/Banking experience

You should be a motivated self-starter with excellent organizational and communication skills, ideally with hands-on experience in supporting applications and software maintenance. You will need to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
