Overview

We are seeking an experienced ASIC Design Engineer to join a global semiconductor leader based in Coventry. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge IP including CPUs, DSPs, memory and IO controllers, and hardware accelerators, used across the industry and in billions of chips.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and debug SoC reference systems.
• Integrate compute, memory, and interface IP in system designs.
• Analyze IP products and implementation flows.
• Apply best practices in hardware design and verification to enhance efficiency and reliability.

Requirements

• BS in Electronic Engineering or Computer Science with 8+ years’ experience, or MS with 5+ years’ experience.
• At least 5 years of ASIC design and verification experience.
• Expertise in processor design, on-chip communication, high-speed interfaces, or chiplets.
• Proficiency in Verilog/SystemVerilog and RTL design techniques.
• Experience with UVM for ASIC verification.
• FPGA or emulation experience is a plus.
