Job summary

Just Eat Takeaway.com is seeking an Application Security Engineer to join our world-class security team, safeguarding our products, data, and customers across the SDLC. You will partner with global Technology teams, leading threat modeling and security reviews while educating engineers on secure coding practices.

In this role, you’ll adapt to the diverse needs of dispersed development teams, consult on time-sensitive features, and drive security improvements across AI-enabled applications.

Qualifications

• Define security controls for complex environments.
• Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and associated controls.
• Experience with SCA, SAST and secrets management.
• Secure SDLC security across AI-enabled apps.

Responsibilities

• Translate security principles into actionable requirements and controls across Just Eat Takeaway.com's platforms.
• Lead security reviews including threat modeling, design reviews, and code reviews.
• Assess vulnerabilities in AI-enabled applications and leverage AI tools to improve security analysis.
• Champion security with developers and communicate across technical and non-technical terms.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and also work independently.
