Just Eat Takeaway.com in Watford is seeking an ambitious Application Security Engineer to join our global security team. You will implement security controls across the SDLC, perform threat modelling, review designs and code, and advise on vulnerabilities in AI-enabled applications.

You’ll consult with diverse development teams, educate partners on secure practices, and drive steps to raise security standards across Just Eat Takeaway.com’s platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience defining controls for complex environments independent of platform/technology.
• Deep knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and designing appropriate security controls.
• Experience with Secure Coding Tools (SCA, SAST) and Secrets management.
• Ability to address vulnerabilities across SDLC with defensive/offensive mindset.
• Experience securing AI-enabled apps and assessing AI/LLM vulnerabilities.

Responsibilities

• Translate security principles into cross-platform requirements and controls.
• Lead security reviews including threat modelling, design reviews and code reviews.
• Assess vulnerabilities in AI-enabled apps and enable developer security tooling.
• Champion security with developers in technical and non-technical terms.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and work independently where needed.
