Job summary

Just Eat Takeaway.com is seeking an Application Security Engineer to join our global security team. You will work with technology groups to ensure security controls are implemented across the SDLC and protect our customers’ data.

You will lead security reviews, perform threat modelling, and coach engineers on secure coding practices while collaborating with developers across languages and platforms. This role requires excellent communication, a proactive mindset, and a passion for reducing risk

Qualifications

• Experience defining controls for complex environments regardless of platform.
• Strong knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and secure design patterns.
• Experience in auditing AI-enabled applications and ML risks.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead security reviews across SDLC including threat modelling and design reviews.
• Consult on time-sensitive features and secure coding practices.
• Educate partners and promote secure engineering practices.
• Collaborate with developers to implement security controls.
