Application Security Architect London / WFH to £150k

Do you have expertise with Application Security within a financial services environment?

You could be progressing your career in a senior, impactful role at a global prime broker that is replacing legacy infrastructure with a new cloud-native clearing and custody system, designed for today's complex global markets.

As an Application Security Architect, you will lead the application security efforts as part of the product development lifecycle, collaborating with the CISO on Greenfield development projects to ensure security is integrated from the start.

Your responsibilities will include analysing and assessing cybersecurity risks, developing mitigation plans, collaborating with R&D teams on security strategies, participating in product design sessions, establishing secure coding and testing practices, and conducting penetration tests internally and with third-party suppliers.

Location / WFH:

You will join a small, talented, and collaborative team in the London City office three days a week, with flexibility to work from home the other two days.

About you:

• Expertise in secure software development lifecycle processes
• Background in software engineering (Golang / Java preferred)
• Strong software design knowledge
• Good understanding of cloud architectures (AWS preferred) and Kubernetes
• Experience securing code within a financial services environment
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
