Job summary

Peak Recruitment | Food & Agriculture is seeking a newly created Application Scientist to generate scientific insights into product performance in customer applications, driving innovation from lab testing to customer implementation.

You will collaborate with Material Scientists and Process Engineers, support projects across stages, and help develop new products, technologies and IP. Some travel is involved; UK work eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in R&D, product development, technical applications or science from a food or chemical related industry.
• Hands-on laboratory and pilot plant experience.
• Strong scientific mindset with a passion for innovation and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Generate scientific insights into product performance in customer applications to drive product innovation.
• Support innovation projects from laboratory and pilot plant testing through to customer implementation.
• Collaborate with Material Scientists and Process Engineers to develop new products, technologies and IP.
