Application Sales Engineer - Projects

Sheffield

• Technical consulting and projects quotation preparation, including CAD tooling drawings and set-up sheets
• Customer visits to assess needs and demonstrate tooling solutions, in addition to replenishment and maintenance of customer vending machines onsite
• Preparation and operation of CNC machines for internal & externaltraining and customer component demonstrations
• Analysis of customer component drawings to develop suitable tooling solutions
• Production of CAD for special tooling for customers, complete tool build ups and CAD fixture drawings
• Providing cover, as required, for inbound technical support enquiries to the Sheffield sales office

Your profile:

• Successful completion of a recognised engineering apprenticeship, with a bias towards CNC machining
• Minimum of5 years post-apprenticeship experience in CNC machining and metal cutting is essential
• Experience with CAD/CAM systems
• A willingness to travel and a full UK driving licence
• Customer focussed, team-oriented and strong communication skills

• Competitive basic salary of £47,856 per annum, plus bonus structure (OTE ranging between £61k to £87k)
