Job description

Application Packager required for a 6-month contract – Immediate start.

The Application Packager will join a small team and lead the transition of applications to a new company following a business separation.

Responsibilities:
  1. End-to-end application packaging, from requirements gathering to UAT and deployment
  2. Review current application estate, prioritizing key applications
  3. Create, test, and troubleshoot application packages (MSI, App-V, IntuneWin, etc.)
  4. Ensure compatibility with Windows 10/11 environments
  5. Collaborate with Project Managers, Business Analysts, Infrastructure teams, and end-users
  6. Maintain detailed documentation throughout the packaging lifecycle
  7. Proven experience in the entire application packaging lifecycle
  8. Strong knowledge of packaging tools (e.g., AdminStudio, SCCM, Intune)
  9. Experience with scripting (PowerShell, VBScript)
  10. Familiarity with enterprise deployment environments and change control processes
  11. Experience with mergers, acquisitions, or new business setup is an advantage
  12. Experience with Windows Virtual Desktop (WVD), Azure, or Citrix environments is advantageous
  13. Security clearance, NPPV, BPSS clearance, DBS checks are advantageous
Additional Details:

This role is mainly remote, with on-site commitments as needed—approximately 1-3 days per month.

This position requires an immediate start, with interviews scheduled for the week commencing 21st April.

The candidate must undergo BPSS checks, including DBS, referencing, right to work, and proof of qualifications, before starting.
