Application Packager – 6 months contract – remote – Inside IR35

Application Packager required for a 6-month contract – Immediate start.

The Application Packager will join a small team and lead the transition of applications to a new company following a business separation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. End-to-end application packaging, from requirements gathering to UAT and deployment.
2. Review current application estate and prioritize key applications.
3. Create, test, and troubleshoot application packages (MSI, App-V, IntuneWin, etc.).
4. Ensure compatibility with Windows 10/11 environments.
5. Collaborate with Project Managers, Business Analysts, Infrastructure teams, and end-users.
6. Maintain detailed documentation throughout the packaging lifecycle.

Skills & Experience:

1. Proven experience in the entire application packaging lifecycle.
2. Strong knowledge of packaging tools such as AdminStudio, SCCM, and Intune.
3. Experience with scripting languages like PowerShell and VBScript.
4. Familiarity with enterprise deployment environments and change control processes.
5. Experience with mergers, acquisitions, or new business setups is an advantage.

• Experience with Windows Virtual Desktop (WVD), Azure, or Citrix environments is advantageous.
• Security clearance (e.g., BPSS, NPPV, DBS checks) is an advantage.

This role is mainly remote, with on-site commitments approximately 1-3 days per month when required.

This position requires immediate availability, with interviews scheduled for the week commencing 21st April.

The successful candidate will need to complete BPSS checks, including DBS, referencing, right to work, and proof of qualifications, prior to starting.
