We are working with a top financial services organisation to help them find an Applications Manager who has strong D365 F&O experience to join their team. You will be working closely with internal and external stakeholders, managing the vendor relationships and managing the MSP involved. This isn't a hands-on development role but a strategy and management position.

This role primarily focuses on driving the direction (in collaboration with the CIO), and overseeing software solution delivery and support, of the firm’s enterprise applications such as :

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance (and legacy Dynamics AX)
• Other Enterprise Business Application Platforms (HRIS, CRM, Banking & Finance)
• Line of Business Applications (Accounting & Tax solutions, Audit Management platform)

The role will also drive valuable business outcomes by optimising data through visualisation, surfacing key insights, and enabling effective use of data across the firm by owning the design, implementation, and management of data technology platforms, governance and integrations, leveraging expertise in technologies such as SQL, PowerBI, and Microsoft Fabric.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience in managing and delivering enterprise software solutions and data platforms.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and guide a technical team.
• Expertise in application platforms, including cloud-based technologies, data governance, and system integrations.
• Experience with Microsoft technologies, such as Power BI, Azure, and SQL, is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with AI, automation, and RPA tools (e.g., Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry) is an advantage.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
