Your Impact

The Utilities Application Engineering Manager will oversee a global team supporting instrument-based monitoring solutions in the electrical Transmission and Distribution sector. The role involves supporting new and existing customers, interacting with sales, customer service, quotations, and field services, traveling to key accounts, and working with engineering to resolve technical challenges. Our global presence ensures responsiveness and support across time zones, with high visibility for professional growth.

Responsibilities:

• Mentor and lead the Applications Engineering team to support sales of monitoring systems worldwide.
• Collaborate with Sales Management for deployment, prioritization, technical knowledge sharing, and resource allocation to meet proposal and project timelines.
• Monitor team effectiveness, financial impact on revenue, customer response times, and satisfaction.
• Identify training needs and implement development programs.

Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate will have:

• BSc in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field; MSc preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in technical customer service or commercial operations, preferably in utility Transmission, Distribution, or Power Generation industries.
• Knowledge of IT, communication protocols, instrumentation, and basic programming.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with proven public speaking experience.
• Experience leading and developing teams.
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with CRM tools like Salesforce is a plus.
