An exciting opportunity has opened up for a skilled and enthusiastic Applications Engineer to join a fast-paced, high-tech engineering business. This is a hands-on role that blends technical design, hardware/software integration, and client-facing project work.

This is a hands-on role combining engineering design, hardware/software integration, and project coordination — perfect for someone looking to build their career in a dynamic and innovative environment.

What you’ll be doing:

• Working with custom software tools to design and configure technical systems
• Supporting the full project lifecycle from initial specification through to implementation
• Collaborating with internal engineering teams and external partners
• Assisting with system builds, testing, and deployment
• Writing and maintaining technical documentation
• Providing training and support for delivered systems

What we’re looking for:

• 2+ years of engineering experience in automation, control, or systems integration
• A 2:1 degree or higher in Engineering or a related discipline
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• A proactive mindset and attention to detail
• UK driving licence and willingness to travel (UK and abroad occasionally)

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with automation, sensors, or industrial technology
• Experience supporting system integration or field-based deployments
• Exposure to regulated industries such as manufacturing, medical, or electronics
