Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Application Engineer to join our technical team. Based in Peterborough, this role offers a mix of office-based engineering work and on-site involvement — including troubleshooting, commissioning, and training support for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide application and technical support for pump systems in water, wastewater, and food & beverage sectors
• Prepare system designs, technical proposals, and equipment selections
• Support sales efforts with engineering insight and practical solutions
• Conduct site visits for commissioning, troubleshooting, and customer training
• Maintain clear communication with clients, suppliers, and internal teams
• Stay current with industry standards, technologies, and product innovations

Requirements

• An engineering-related qualification (Mechanical, Process, or similar discipline)
• Experience with pumps, hydraulic systems, fluid handling equipment, or rotating machinery needed
• Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to travel across the UK as needed
• Full UK driving licence
