Application Engineer – Peterborough – £35,000-£45,000

We are seeking a technically skilled Application Engineer to join a dynamic team in the pump sector delivering innovative industrial solutions. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys solving complex problems, supporting clients, and working closely with sales and project teams.

The role

• Provide technical support and application expertise to internal teams and customers as an Application Engineer.
• Assess client requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Prepare technical documentation, proposals, and product specifications as an Application Engineer.
• Work closely with sales and project teams to ensure solutions are correctly applied and implemented.
• Conduct site visits, product demonstrations, and training sessions as needed.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives, providing feedback on product performance and client needs.

Minimum Skills / Experience Required

• Degree in Engineering or a relevant technical discipline as an Application Engineer
• Experience in application engineering, technical sales support, or industrial systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for clients.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work collaboratively across teams.
• Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
