Role Overview

Are you an experienced Application or Sales Engineer looking for an exciting new job opportunity?

We are currently seeking an Application Engineer to join a leading electronics company based in Surrey. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and creating new sales opportunities related to heat pump and heat recovery equipment, preparing project proposals based on design, and providing technical support to consultants and contractors.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

1. Build a strong customer base and relationship, achieve sales and KPI targets related to heat pumps and heat recovery equipment, including design, equipment selection, and quotation generation.
2. Develop, track, and grow specifications across market segments, continuously building a pipeline of new projects.
3. Identify and create new sales opportunities with existing and new customers to meet sales targets.
4. Prepare project proposals based on design, specifications, and quotations using company equipment, with support from the application engineering team.

Role Requirements

To be successful, candidates should have:

• An Engineering degree (Mechanical/Technical) is preferable. Experience in the air conditioning (VRF/applied) industry is essential.
• A technical understanding of VRF systems and design is required. Knowledge of applied products, chillers, and AHUs is a plus.
• Experience selling HVAC VRF-based heating, cooling, controls, BMS, or ventilation technologies into commercial infrastructure projects is advantageous.
