A leading company in high-speed equipment design and manufacture is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to take products through production and work on bespoke projects. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Mechanical Engineering and 3-5 years of industry experience, especially in mechanical and machined part design. Our client is a highly regarded design and manufacturer of both off the shelf and bespoke high-speed equipment. They have global reach within their product line and their products sit within a plethora of applications.

Job Responsibilities

• Taking core products through to production from customer requirements
• Involvement in bespoke/special projects with Design Team
• Designing brackets for mountings, and shielding (high volume)
• Detailing engineering drawings, creating bill of materials and parts lists

Skill Required

• 3 to 5 years in industry
• Degree Educated or HND/HNC in Mechanical Engineering
• Worked in a Manufacturing facility, having seen products go through the full life cycle
• Experience with Mechanical and Machined part design is imperative

Compensation & Other Benefits

• £35,000 to £42,000 per annum
