Job Description:

The Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst is responsible for participating in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The role aims to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.

Responsibilities:
  • Utilize knowledge of application development procedures and concepts, including scripting and code analysis, to identify and define system enhancements.
  • Consult with users, clients, and tech teams to resolve issues and support customer exposure systems.
  • Apply fundamental programming language knowledge for designing specifications.
  • Analyze applications for vulnerabilities, conduct testing, and debugging.
  • Serve as an advisor or coach to junior analysts.
  • Identify problems, analyze information, and recommend solutions.
  • Resolve issues using technical experience and established precedents.
  • Operate with limited supervision and exercise independent judgment.
  • Act as SME to stakeholders and team members.
  • Assess risks in business decisions, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, and report control issues transparently.
Qualifications:
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in the Financial Services industry.
  • Intermediate experience in Applications Development.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
