Job summary

QS Recruitment Ltd is seeking experienced Van Drivers to join a white goods delivery operation across the UK. The role features early starts, reliable weekday hours and optional Saturday overtime, with immediate starts available on a temporary contract.

You will transport, load and deliver appliances, handling goods safely, and providing professional customer service. Shifts run Monday to Friday from 04:00–07:00, 10–12 hour days, with weekly pay and pro rata annual leave.

Job Description

Want regular van driving work with early starts, reliable weekday hours and the chance to boost your earnings with optional Saturday overtime? We’re looking for experienced Van Drivers to join an established white goods delivery operation, with immediate starts available.

You’ll be responsible for transporting and delivering household appliances and white goods to customers across the UK, ensuring every delivery is completed safely, efficiently and with care.

Depending on the delivery requirements, you may work independently or alongside a second driver as part of a two-person team. You’ll regularly interact with customers, so a professional approach and good customer service skills are essential.

The role involves handling household appliances and ensuring goods are delivered in excellent condition, so you’ll need to be comfortable with physical work and manual handling.

Duration: This is an ongoing temporary position offering regular weekday work and consistent opportunities for suitable drivers.

Contract Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate: The position pays £13.75 per hour, with weekly pay and the opportunity to accrue up to 28 days’ annual leave pro rata. With regular Monday-to-Friday work, optional Saturday overtime and immediate starts available, this is a great opportunity for experienced Van Drivers.

Working Hours: The role operates Monday to Friday, with start times between 04:00 and 07:00. Shifts typically last between 10 and 12 hours, depending on the route and workload.Saturday overtime is available for those looking to earn extra money, but weekend work is not compulsory.

Experience & Qualifications

You’ll need at least one year of commercial van driving experience and a full UK driving licence with no more than three penalty points.

Due to the location of the client’s site, you must also have your own transport, such as a car or motorcycle, to get to and from work.

We’re looking for reliable, hardworking individuals who can work independently and as part of a two-person delivery team. Good timekeeping, a professional attitude and the ability to handle deliveries responsibly are essential.
