Description

Apple Podcasts offers an incredibly diverse collection of shows that entertain, inform, and inspire listeners in more than 170 countries. We are looking for a creative, strategic individual to join our UK and Ireland team for a fixed-term contract. Reporting into the Podcast Lead, you will lead and grow our creator partnerships, supporting creators of all sizes to maximise their success on the Apple Podcasts platform using best practices, creator tools, and Apple Podcasts Subscriptions.Do you have a deep passion for podcasts and a proven ability to build relationships within the creator economy? Responsibilities
  • Manage Partnerships: Guide podcast creators in the UK and Ireland, helping them launch, manage, and grow compelling subscription offerings and work with them across other Apple Podcasts initiatives.
  • Serve as a Creator Advocate: Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of partners, championing their interests with internal teams, including marketing, editorial, and product.
  • Drive Growth: Analyse partner performance to provide data-driven insights and strategic recommendations that help creators grow their audience and revenue. Identify parters that could be onboarded to Apple Podcasts programmes such as Subscriptions, leading the end to end process from pitching to delivery and optimisation.
  • Curate and Promote: Support across editorial curation of Apple Podcasts for the UK and Ireland. Identify priority content, stay attuned to cultural moments, and execute on-store promotions and campaigns in a timely manner to our internal processes.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with the wider Apple Services teams to identify and drive mutual growth opportunities, providing clear and timely briefings for design, copy, and operational needs, and bringing in other lines of business where relevant.
  • Amplify and Support: Field partner inquiries and review pitches. Seek out ways to amplify creator marketing efforts, ensuring their content is presented to the highest standard across the Apple ecosystem.
  • Drive key strategic projects: From concept to completion, as assigned to you, focus on enhancing the creator experience and unlocking new business opportunities.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Proven experience in partnership management, preferably within a subscription-based business.
  • Deep knowledge of the podcasting landscape, production processes, and distribution techniques that extends beyond personal taste.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with senior external partners and act as a trusted advisor.
  • Understanding of editorial curation decision making, including the ability to take ownership of key editorial tasks when required.
  • A genuine passion for and understanding of the Apple brand and its products.
  • Outstanding organisational skills, previous experience in handling and prioritising multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and communicate results effectively using tools like Excel/Numbers and Keynote.
  • Superb interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrable success in collaborating effectively with international peers across different timezones.
Preferred Qualifications
  • A creative and resourceful problem-solver who embodies the "Think Different" spirit.
  • Direct experience working within the podcasting and content creator industry.
  • BA/BSc degree or equivalent practical experience in a related field.
  • Fluency in English is required. Additional languages are valued, but not required.
