Job summary

Curo Services is seeking an experienced Apigee X professional to design, build and operate secure API capabilities across Google Cloud in a hybrid London setting. You will manage proxies, security, and environment configurations, while driving automated deployments and robust CI/CD pipelines.

The role requires hands-on experience with Apigee X, OAuth/OIDC/JWT/mTLS, and Terraform-driven automation, with strong Linux scripting skills.

Qualifications

• Hands-on engineering experience delivering Apigee X in production.
• Experience with OpenAPI, OAuth2, OIDC, JWT, mTLS and certificate management.
• Knowledge of API proxies, policies and developer onboarding patterns.
• Strong understanding of GCP networking and security controls.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and operate API capabilities on Apigee X and Google Cloud.
• Develop and maintain API proxies, shared flows, policies and environments.
• Implement API security patterns and onboarding patterns.
• Automate configuration and deployments using Terraform, GitHub and Harness.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines with validation, testing and rollback.
• Support migration of proxies and consumers to Apigee X and self-service onboarding.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, architecture and SRE teams.
• Troubleshoot routing, TLS, authentication and connectivity issues.
• Establish logging, monitoring and alerting with Dynatrace and Google Cloud Operations.
• Perform design reviews, production readiness reviews and RCA when needed.
• Provide incident response and post-change validation.
