Job summary

A leading ICT Recruitment Consultancy is looking for an API Technical Architect to define the technical architecture for a digital platform. The role involves designing scalable solutions on AWS and ensuring integration with Salesforce via APIs. This position is hybrid, requiring 2 days in the office in London or Leeds, for an initial contract of 4-6 months. Strong knowledge of Salesforce and AWS is essential.

Overview

API Technical Architect

A Technical Architect is needed to define and oversee the technical architecture for a digital platform. The role involves designing scalable solutions on AWS and ensuring seamless integration with Salesforce via APIs.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and oversee the technical architecture for a digital platform.
• Design scalable solutions on AWS and ensure seamless integration with Salesforce via APIs.

Qualifications

• Salesforce & APIs: Strong knowledge of Salesforce data models and experience with API integration strategies (REST/JSON, middleware, etc.) to connect Salesforce with other systems.
• AWS & Cloud Architecture: Demonstrated experience in designing applications on AWS cloud infrastructure, leveraging appropriate services (compute, storage, networking) and following best practices for cloud security and performance. Programming experience in AWS Lambda is a plus.
• DevSecOps Understanding: Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines, ensuring that architectural decisions support secure development and automated deployment processes.

Location & Contract

Candidates will be based in the UK. The role is based on a hybrid working model, 2 days in the office in either London or Leeds. The contract is for 4-6 months initially, outside IR35.
