An introduction from Andrew Underwood, Head of Marketing...

If you like the idea of communicating technical products within a high-growth, profitable startup, then I have the role for you. Cronofy is used by high-performance teams to power scheduling at scale. Our APIs power scheduling for hundreds of SaaS applications across diverse verticals. If you've used a GoDaddy website to make an online appointment or scheduled an interview on Indeed, you've used Cronofy’s APIs under the hood.

We excel where scheduling is complex with multiple people and constraints, such as recruiting, coaching, and healthcare. We deliver immediate value by seamlessly integrating scheduling tools into the tools and products people already use, enabling frictionless scheduling.

We focus relentlessly on performance, security, support, and reliability, making us the market leader in scheduling infrastructure. Developers appreciate our APIs and open documentation because they do what they say, allowing developers to bypass sales and start building with the API.

With Cronofy powering scheduling for over 180k companies, this role offers an incredible opportunity to expand our success. As the API Product Marketer, you will broaden the market reach of our service through collaboration across product, marketing, and sales. Working within a team that includes a former API product marketer and an existing product marketer, this is a unique chance to shape our API positioning and messaging with strong support.

The role

We are seeking a technically savvy, results-oriented API Product Marketer to join our marketing team. You will be the voice of the technical consumer and buyer as we evolve our positioning for this key audience.

To succeed, you will develop a deep understanding of market needs and how Cronofy delivers value against them.

You will immerse yourself in the lives of technical customers and prospects, developing empathy for their challenges, success metrics, and language.

Scheduling is complex, with many sector- and function-specific nuances. Our customers use our technology across various use cases and sectors. You will need to retain and apply extensive knowledge to position our API service effectively across these problem spaces.

Your responsibilities

  • Ownership of positioning and management of our API products internationally, focusing on Europe
  • Developing a comprehensive understanding of the competitive landscape
  • Planning and executing go-to-market strategies to increase market share, revenue, and customer adoption
  • Creating diverse marketing content, including sales collateral, product videos, blog posts, web pages, and case studies

How you'll work

  • Develop product positioning and messaging confidently
  • Influence stakeholders and peers at all levels
  • Be customer-centric, understanding needs and using all channels to reach target audiences
  • Adapt marketing strategies to changing market conditions
  • Work flexibly and travel as needed

Your ability to position our products, drive revenue, and collaborate across teams is critical to our success. Your work will directly impact our market presence and product success.

About you

We expect the successful candidate to have:

  • Proven experience in B2B API product marketing
  • Strategic thinking aligned with industry trends and competition
  • Strong communication skills for internal and external conveyance
  • Data analysis proficiency to inform marketing decisions
  • Attention to detail and proactive approach
  • Ability to work independently, own projects, and meet deadlines

Whether you're an ex-developer who loves technical storytelling or a seasoned marketer experienced with technical API products, we want to hear from you.

How we work

Our approach guides our daily work. We are a customer-focused business—sales, marketing, and product design all prioritize the customer.

We support remote, office, or hybrid work models. Face-to-face time is valued, and we encourage team gatherings when possible. Ideally, the successful candidate will be based in or near London.
