The Avenue Norman by Preiss Brand is seeking a maintenance-focused individual to help keep our multifamily housing communities in top condition in Norman, OK. The role involves cleaning, trash removal, furniture movement, and basic repairs to ensure move-in readiness.

Responsibilities include light plumbing tasks, electrical fixture checks, and general unit upkeep. High school diploma or equivalent is required, with physical stamina for lifting and climbing stairs as part of daily activities.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to move furniture and perform basic maintenance tasks.
• Good safety awareness and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Pick up grounds and trash at buildings (walk all floors)
• Remove all trash and belongings from vacant apartments (all floors)
• Move furniture (up and down stairs)
• Perform light maintenance such as checking and changing light bulbs, fixtures, ballasts, blinds and air filters
• Light plumbing repair on sinks, toilets and bathtubs
• Tightening towel bars and toilet seats; installing shower rods
• Replacing drip pans and burners on range; caulking; etc.
• May clean buildings/units
• Walk units and inspect for damages or move-in readiness
