Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor or Property Manager, you will:

  • Respond promptly to maintenance service requests and complete work orders accurately.
  • Prepare vacant units for new residents, including cleaning, repairs, and turnover tasks.
  • Maintain grounds and common areas free of trash and debris.
  • Deliver excellent customer service while interacting with residents.
  • Perform repairs and upkeep in areas such as:
  • Electrical: Troubleshoot and repair circuits, switches, breakers, and lighting.
  • Plumbing: Install/repair toilets, sinks, vanities, disposals; perform basic caulking and leak fixes.
  • Appliances: Service and install common household appliances.
  • Carpentry: Address minor repairs including doors, window screens, and blinds.
  • Painting & Drywall: Patch and paint walls as needed.
  • Trash Removal: Handle bulk trash and appliance disposal.
  • Drain Clearing: Unclog drains and sewer lines (up to 4 feet).
Qualifications
  • Basic knowledge of general maintenance and repair.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and safely use ladders.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work occasional weekends as needed.
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
