We are seeking a strategic and results-driven APAC Financial Controller to provide financial leadership and drive the success of our operations across Australia and the APAC region.

Description

As a key member of the Divisional Leadership Team, you will play a critical role in developing and executing financial strategies that contribute to the overall success of the business. You will also provide strategic and operational finance leadership to ensure compliance, profitability, and effective financial management across our divisions.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Strategic Planning : Contribute to business strategy, capital investments, and process improvement projects.
2. Financial Reporting & Control : Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with ITW policies and audit requirements.
3. Operational Analysis & Planning : Partner with the VP / GM to set financial targets and KPIs.
4. Credit Management & Investment Analysis : Assess investment projects to drive profitability and return on invested capital.
5. Talent Development : Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing Finance team.
6. Business Model Expertise : Leverage industry insights to simplify processes and enhance profitability.
7. Compliance & Leadership : Uphold ITW's values and ensure adherence to company policies and legislative requirements.

Profile

The ideal candidate is a CA / CPA-qualified professional with a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting. You will have previous senior finance experience in a multinational organisation, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.

With a proven track record of leadership, you will have successfully managed finance teams and worked within a matrix structure. Your strong commercial acumen includes expertise in budgeting, strategic planning, and execution. You will possess excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office, COGNOS, and various business intelligence tools. A results-driven mindset, combined with strong analytical and decision-making skills, enables you to drive success. Additionally, you have the ability to lead and influence teams, fostering a high-performance culture.
