Job Title: AOI Technician

Responsibilities:
  • Operate 2D and 3D AOI machines to inspect PCB assemblies
  • Validate first-off and full batch builds against IPC and J-STD standards (Levels 2 & 3)
  • Document inspection results and process faults
  • Collaborate with engineers for inspection feedback and process improvements
  • Read and interpret manufacturing drawings for orientation and build conformance
  • Record production data using computer-based systems
Candidate Requirements:
  • Experience with AOI equipment and a keen eye for detail
  • Understanding of IPC standards
  • Ability to read technical drawings
  • Experience working in manufacturing or electronics environments
  • Proactive, adaptable, and committed to quality
  • Bonus: experience with AOI programming, SMT rework, or X-ray inspection
