Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

This position involves providing engineering support to a team of exploration rover control engineers. Responsibilities include designing, developing, and testing algorithm prototype code (adhering to team coding standards), and supporting tools (post processing, CI server, test harness, etc.), which may deviate from standards if justified. Testing will be conducted using a custom simulator and hardware outdoors. The successful candidate will also support merge reviews for less experienced engineers as part of the team's sprint process.

Primary technologies: Linux, Python, C, cmake, bash, scripting, some C++, CI, git, GitLab, Confluence, Jira, agile methodologies.
Development environment: vscode + useful extensions.
Bonus points for experience with: HW integration, electronics, networking, cameras, filtering/estimation, mathematical modelling in Matlab/Simulink, participation in GNC/AOCS projects.
